Academic Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of 48 college hours
  • Have a 2.0 or higher GPA
  • No application fee and no admissions essay

Transfer Student Application Process

A transfer student is any undergraduate student with greater than six attempted credit hours, excluding remedial/developmental (zero-level courses) or pre-college work and credit hours accumulated by concurrently enrolled high school students. All steps must be completed in order to be admitted and enrolled.

  1. Complete the online application at www.langston.edu/apply-now (Select the “Langston University Transfer/Urban Campus” application)
  2. Submit all official transcripts
  3. Complete FAFSA ((Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov, school code = 003157)

Submit an official transcript from each college attended. Transcripts may be delivered in person or mailed to: Langston University-Tulsa Office of Admissions, Recruitment, and Outreach Programs 914 N. Greenwood Ave., Tulsa, OK 74106

 

Readmission Student Application Process

A readmissions student is any student who has previously attend Langston University but was not enrolled during the immediate past semester (except the summer session). All steps must be completed in order to be admitted and enrolled.

  1. Complete the online application at www.langston.edu/apply-now (Select the Langston University Transfer/Urban Campus” application)
  2. Submit new official transcripts.
  3. Complete FAFSA ((Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov, school code = 003157)

Submit all new official transcript(s) from all colleges attended since you last attended Langston University. Transcripts may be delivered in person or mailed to: Langston University-Tulsa Office of Admissions, Recruitment, and Outreach Programs 914 N. Greenwood Ave., Tulsa, OK 74106

Special Non-Degree Student Application Process

A non-degree seeking student is any student who wishes to enroll in courses without intending to pursue a degree may be permitted to enroll in no more than nine credit hours without submitting academic credentials or meeting the academic curricular or performance requirements of the institution. All steps must be completed in order to be admitted and enrolled.

  1. Complete the online application at www.langston.edu/apply-now (Select the Langston University Transfer/Urban Campus” application)
  2. Submissions of transcripts are not required.
  3. Complete the FAFSA (Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov, school code = 003157)

Urban Campus Scholarships 

Langston University Urban Campuses (Oklahoma City/Tulsa) award tuition waivers of various amounts to eligible applicants as funds remain available to students who are first-time entering/re-admitted transfer and graduate students. Students must be admitted in good standing and have a current year FAFSA on file. Awards must be accepted within the time frame designated in the correspondence or the offer will be re-allocated to another deserving student. Scholarships are awarded as funds remain available.
