Pre-Arrival COVID-19 Test Required

Similar to prior semesters, the University is implementing a multi-layered testing strategy to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 spread within our campus community. All residents must submit evidence of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to returning to the campus for their assigned move-in appointment. Students who do not submit a pre-arrival test will not be permitted to move-in. Students testing positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted to move into their campus housing assignment and must isolate off-campus at their own expense.

• An official medical document dated within 72 hours of the assigned move-in appointment must be submitted through this form  from an official Langston University email account.
• Results for COVID-19 tests conducted outside the 72-hour window will not be accepted.
• Results from at-home test kits will not be accepted.
• The document file type submission can be a JPEG (image) or PDF but must include your name, the date of testing and/or specimen collection, and clear confirmation of a negative test.

Pre-Arrival COVID-19 Rapid Testing Available at the Wesley Center of Langston through the Langston University partnership with Total Wellness

Langston University continues our partnership with Total Wellness Corporate Health, a professional clinic team, to provide convenient and safe COVID-19 rapid testing to our students. Langston University and Total Wellness have established a clinic site for the convenience of our campus community. A separate appointment is not needed for the testing. The campus move-in appointment list for each day will be shared with the clinic to verify student information for those who take advantage of this testing opportunity. Same-day results will be accepted as long as the virus is not detected.

Please note: COVID-19 rapid tests will be offered for free with insurance or at a cost of $35 per test for Langston University students. Please have your LU Student ID or Fall 2022 semester class schedule ready. You will be asked for your student ID or class schedule prior to getting a test. A photo of your results may then be uploaded to this form. Please bring the paper copy with you to your move-in appointment for verification purposes.
