Accessible Housing Information

Students with Disabilities
If you require accommodation for a disability, you must register with the Office of Disability Services. The Office of Disability Services communicates any housing requirements necessary to Residential Life and Housing Services (RLHS) so we can make appropriate accommodations for you. To be considered for academic accommodations, please provide a copy of your high school IEP or 504 that indicates your disability, the academic accommodations to provide, and if the documentation was completed by the qualified examiner, physician, licensed psychologist, or psychiatrist stating your disability, the academic accommodation needed, with the name, signature, and credentials of a licensed professional. Please email the documentation to cynthia.buckley or deliver it to Page Hall, Room 115.

Assistance Animals
Students must register their disability with the Office of Disability Services before bringing an assistance animal on campus. To be considered for an emotional support animal, information is needed on the letterhead of your physician, licensed psychologist, or psychiatrist stating your disability, that they have prescribed you with an emotional support animal, with the name, signature, and credentials of the licensed professional. Please email the documentation to cynthia.buckley or deliver it to Page Hall, Room 115.

Gender Inclusive Housing
If you have questions or concerns regarding housing at Langston University, please contact cynthia.buckley or 405-466-3204 to discuss options. Diversity in all its forms is central to a healthy and dynamic community, and we are working with all students to ensure everyone who desires the on-campus experience can reside on campus in a safe, comfortable environment.
