Teleworking Continued through May 15, 2020

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Langston University places the highest priority on the health and well-being of our University community. We continue to monitor the ongoing risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing remains the best practice in mitigating community spread of the virus.

The University will continue its current teleworking practices through the end of the semester, May 15, 2020, unless extended. Each unit should follow instructions from its supervisor concerning telework. A teleworking document has been published to provide additional guidance.

The Emergency Leadership Team has provided teleworking guidance to division heads and deans for reference. We recognize that this time of transition requires adjustments, and we will continue to work with supervisors in making the necessary accommodations.

Campus Access
Access to a campus may be needed from time to time in order to carry out critical business functions. Supervisors may request access to campus using this form. The North Gate of the Langston Campus is closed until further notice. All traffic entering onto the Langston Campus must do so through the South Entrance, near the Langston University Police Department. A Campus Access Pass is needed to enter campus. The appropriate Campus Access Pass will be provided upon approval by the Emergency Leadership Team.

Technology Needs
For those who wish to request additional technology resources for teleworking, the Emergency Leadership Team has made this form available to accept requests from supervisors. All requests will be reviewed and responded to according to available technology.

We appreciate your continued cooperation and support of all members of the community. Please continue to check the COVID-19 Resource Page for regular updates and alerts.
