MISSION STATEMENT The Office of Student and Employee Services' mission is to support the teaching, research and public service mission of Langston University by providing a comprehensive Human Resources program to university department managers, supervisors and employees.

Langston University, pursuant to the State's commitment to Affirmative Action in the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education, and following the format constructed by the State Regents' Office in cooperation with the office for Civil Rights, Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, has submitted its Institutional Affirmative Action Compliance Plan to the State Regents for Higher Education. The Personnel responsible for the preparation of the Plan attests that the information that is contained herein is both accurate and current, and that it reflects the institution's progress toward total and complete compliance with the guidelines, as established by The Board of Regents for Oklahoma State University and the A&M Colleges and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and the Office for Civil Rights. Langston University is in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Executive Order 11246, as amended, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and other federal laws and regulations, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, handicap or status as a veteran in any of its policies, practices or procedures.
