Donna Foster currently serves as an Instructor in the School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (SAAS) Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. Mrs. Foster earned her M.Ed. in Special Education and a M. S. in Family and Child Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). She received a B.A. in Sociology from UCO.

Mrs. Foster serves as an academic advisor for the department. She is an advisor for The Society of Distinguished Black Women (DBW) and the co-advisor for Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Organization. Mrs. Foster currently serves on several committees: LU SAAS Open House, Communication and Technology, Infant Mortality Alliance, and Logan County Community Partnership. She serves as a peer reviewer for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Central Oklahoma’s Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR).

Prior to her appointment at Langston University, Mrs. Foster spent 21 years working in state government. She was employed with the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) and Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS). Since employment with Langston University, she has served as an adjunct instructor for Family Services and Child Development for Rose State College and completed contracted appointments with OKDHS.
