The program was founded in 2002, replacing the Bachelor’s of Physical Therapy program once offered under the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
Additionally, our Class of 2022 had a 100% pass rate for the National Physical Therapy Examination for licensure and has a 100% employment rate after licensure.
The School of Physical Therapy’s new building offers our students clinical, anatomy and research labs with high-quality equipment which makes for positive and functional teaching and learning environments.

Bryan Dinh, DPT, FAAOMPT, Dip. Osteopractic
Dr. Bryan Dinh graduated from Langston University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2021. He double majored in modern dance and biochemistry during his undergraduate studies before coming to Langston to earn his doctorate in physical therapy.
Since completing the program, Dr. Dinh has gone on to earn a Diploma in Osteopractic, certification in Spinal Manipulative Therapy, certification in Dry Needling, and became a Certified Musculoskeletal Ultrasonographer through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT). Combining his passion for dance with his knowledge of physical therapy, he has delivered guest lectures on dance injury prevention at studios across the United States. Dr. Dinh’s contribution to the physical therapy profession has been recognized with many honors including the 2022 Most Inspired Fellow and 2023 Distinguished Osteopractor from the AAMT.
Returning to Langston University, Dr. Dinh serves as an adjunct faculty member, where he teaches the Human Gross Anatomy course and oversees the program’s cadaver lab. Additionally, he has taught numerous continuing education courses for physical therapists in multiple states and holds the position of AAMT senior instructor.
